After extensive renovation works, "La Maison des Poètes" opened its doors last spring 2006. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

Our luxury apartments ( "Deluxe Verlaine", "Deluxe Rimbaud" et "Deluxe Cocteau" ), have been designed to high-quality standards, with original decoration elements (apparent stone and stucco walls, original architectural features, various artworks and lithographs), comfortable and elegant furniture.

Unique in the heart of Sarlat, you will benefit from a private fitness and relaxation room (located at ground floor of the building) with jacuzzi, sauna, fitness and relaxation room on the mezzanine.
For the ultimate chill out, we have imported from Kerala-India beautiful decoration elements: hundred-year old granite pillars, antique doors sculpted in exotic wood and many other artefacts. The fitness room is an invitation for both spiritual and physical relaxation. You will be transported.

To best enjoy a medieval town one should live in its very heart.
When you stay here, you share the city's unique and genuine atmosphere with Montaigne and La Boétie.

You are not far from famous known places such as : the castles of Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes, the gardens of Marqueyssac and Eyrignac.

But also: Les Eyzies, the caves of Lascaux, Padirac or Proumeyssac, and some of the most beautiful villages of France: Domme, La Roque Gageac, Rocamadour, Collonges-la-Rouge (...).

You will be in the heart of the Perigordian gastronomy and its specialities (foie gras, magret, truffles, preserved duck/goose ...).
